Timos Kamvissis was born in Athens. His origin is half from Minor Asia ,Bursa and half from Galaxidi in Central  Greece. He finished the Italian College of Athens and then he studied Theological and Social sciences in the Aristotelian University in Thessaloniki .He worked as a training journalist in Greece between  1994-1996 .

His first poetry collection “Original” ( Mavridis) was published in 1995. His second poetry collection “Hymn and Lamentation for Alexander Panagoulis (Armos) was published in 1999.

He will be doing the LLM (Postgraduate course in International  and Commercial Law) in the University of  Buckingham until September 2000.
